The Paradox of Abundance

I have let this happen at my own home. I get movies from Netflix, and they gather dust atop my entertainment center. Then I send it back, having not watched it.

Even with the access to everything, even the best of the best, we may not be able to consume it without the helpful boundaries of the rental window.

Or broadcast window, as it pertains to radio programming.

Or to your podcast’s expiration dates in iTunes…

  1. I have kids, and thus have limited time to watch movies on Netflix when our little cherubs (ahem) are finally asleep at 9 pm. TV series (esp. HBO ones), however, are great for us.
